FOUNDER AND CHAIRMAN |
Paul Nussbaum is the Founder and Chairman of Waramaug Hospitality. He is the former Chairman Emeritus of Wyndham International, Inc., (NYSE:WYN), successor to Patriot American Hospitality, Inc. (NYSE:PAH). From 1991 to 1999 he served as Founder, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Patriot American Hospitality, Inc., a paired share real estate investment trust (and its predecessor Patriot American Group) which owned the Wyndham, Grand Bay, Malmaison, Summerfield and Clubhouse Inn proprietary hotel brands. Nussbaum took the company from owning one hotel in 1992 to the fourth largest hospitality company in the United States with approximately $7 billion in total capitalization. Nussbaum received his Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and received his JD degree from Georgetown University Law Center. He has served on numerous corporate, university, and charitable boards.

Leslie Ng co-founded Waramaug Hospitality. As CEO, he is responsible for driving the company’s overall initiatives. Leslie has held senior executive positions at some of the nation’s most prominent hotel companies, including a long and significant tenure as Chief Investment Officer of Interstate Hotels and Resorts and Head of Acquisitions for Patriot American Hospitality. Leslie is a member of the Board of Directors for Interstate Hotels. He holds a B.E. in Civil Engineering from The Cooper Union and an M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

PAUL STERN
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER |
Paul Stern joined Waramaug in 2013. As COO, he is responsible for coordination throughout the company’s investment process, with a focus on deal structuring and equity formation. From 1990-2000 he co-headed Sonnenblick-Goldman Company’s lodging investment banking group. Earlier in his career, Stern held positions at the Robert M. Bass Group, and Lepercq Capital Partners, where he was involved in hotel investment analysis and acquisitions nationwide. Stern received his Bachelor’s degree from New York University’s School of Business and Public Administration.

CINDY PERVENANZE
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER |
Cindy Pervenanze oversees Waramaug’s financial compliance, hotel reporting and treasury functions. A seasoned financial executive with a broad range of public and private company experience, she has specialized in the real estate and hospitality industries and has held senior positions at firms including Alvarez and Marsal, Apollo Advisors and Patriot American Hospitality. She was also a senior manager in Ernst and Young’s real estate group. Cindy has a Bachelor of Arts with a Concentration in Accounting from the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, Minnesota.

CRAIG NUSSBAUM

Craig Nussbaum joined Waramaug in 2013 and handles all aspects of the company’s transaction activities including deal intake, purchase agreements, due diligence coordination, franchise licensing and dispositions. Prior to joining Waramaug, Craig practiced law for thirteen years. Craig obtained his B.A. from Bates College and J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law.

RAE SALLING
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, ASSET MANAGEMENT |
Rae Salling is Waramaug Hospitality’s Senior Vice President of Asset Management. She maintains overall oversight for the operating performance of the company’s hotel portfolio and is the principal liaison with the operating teams of the company’s respective management companies. Rae brings over 15 years of successful hotel operations experience, holding prior senior executive positions at Interstate Hotels and Resorts and Alliance Hospitality. She maintains broad experience with all of the major brands and has been certified as a Marriott and Hilton operator. Rae attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

CHRIS NG
VICE PRESIDENT |
Chris Ng began his hospitality career in property operations, working at various New York City hotels including the Waldorf-Astoria, Roosevelt Hotel, and Thompson LES. Prior to joining Waramaug Chris performed underwriting, due diligence, and asset management for New Gables Capital, a private commercial real estate bridge lender, as a part of their originations team. Chris holds a B.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management and a M.S. in Real Estate Finance from New York University.

PAUL LEBLANC
MANAGING DIRECTOR, CAPITAL MARKETS |
Paul LeBlanc joined Waramaug in 2016 to expand and spearhead the firm’s capital raising activities. Prior to Waramaug, he was a Managing Director at Wharton Equity Partners, where he raised capital for hospitality and multifamily investments as well as their venture capital efforts. From 1983-2006 Paul was a principal in the Institutional Fixed Income division of Morgan Stanley where he was a leading salesperson transacting in a variety of products including high yield and mortgage backed securities. Paul began his career at Manufacturers Hanover Trust after earning his BA in Business Administration from North Carolina State University.

KEN REGO
FINANCIAL ANALYST |
Ken Rego joined Waramaug in 2018 as financial analyst. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. and his MBA in Financial Management from Pace University. Earlier in his career Ken held analytical or managerial positions in various industries including private banking and law.
